Testing and Membership

Until further notice testing sessions will be open to walk-ins. However, a walk-in does not automatically have guaranteed reserved seating for an examination. So by all means contact the Mensa Testing Contact as soon as possible to reserve a seat for the examination. Testing sessions will be restricted to a maximum of six testing candidates for each testing session because of physical limitations of the testing venue, social distancing, and other restrictions of COVID-19. (For the Central New Jersey Mensa Regional Gathering SnowBall the maximum number of six testing candidates for each testing session is waived; the maximum number of testing candidates for each of the two testing sessions for the Central New Jersey Mensa Regional Gathering SnowBall is 12; that number (12) is the maximum number of testing booklets I have for the Reynolds Adaptable Intelligence Test.) The wearing of a facial mask is optional. If you have not contacted the Testing Contact by email and/or telephone, by all means do so. When you contact the Testing Contact by email at centralnjmensa@gmail.com, please include a telephone number in the email. At that point I should be able to tell you, whether or not there will be an open slot for you to be able to attend the testing session. If there is not an open slot for attendance at a testing session, then your name will be added to a waiting list. If the waiting list is growing at a fast rate and the next testing session is more than two weeks in the future, then I will see about setting up another testing session. Testing date and locations are subject to change. Persons, interested in taking a Mensa test, should check this site frequently for any last minute changes to testing dates and locations.

Candidates Need:

1. $60 – Payment can be made online at https://www.us.mensa.org/join/testing/testingvoucher/ OR at the test session: cash, check, credit/debit card.
   If you purchase a voucher, print it and bring it with you.
   
2. Two number 2 pencils

4. If between the ages of 14 and 18, need guardian’s signature in person
